Welcome to the first Talk About Tuesday! And hopefully not the last. If you are new (which we all are this week) you may want to check out the Guidelines before posting.
I was wondering what I would have to talk about this week when I remembered I have big news! I should have saved my pregnancy news. That would have been REALLY big. But this is good enough.
Remember when I said I was thinking about cutting my hair off? There goes twelve inches of it!
I just couldn’t take care of my long hair anymore and everyone else was doing it so why not me too? I was growing it out to donate to Locks of Love anyway so it wasn’t a difficult decisions to make.
Dang it but I forgot my camera when I went in to have it cut so I don’t have a good before picture. Here is my after picture. It’s the best I could do by myself this morning.
So now Persistence and I look like twins except hers is a little longer and I have bangs.
I would have liked Lovely’s style better but I wanted something easy to grow out. I am much too lazy to style my hair every day. I need ponytails!
Remember when I said my girls didn’t inherit my thick hair? Well now someone else’s girl will and I give it with love.
(That third pony tail fell apart and that was all I could salvage!)
Now what do you have to talk about?
*Important – Please link to your individual Talk About Tuesday post instead of your home page or else my Obsessive Compulsive Disorder will have to spend time fixing the links. Here is how you link to an individual post if you’ve never done it before: Right click on the date at the bottom of the post you want to link to (or the post title depending on where you blog) click “Copy Shortcut” and then paste it into Mr. Linky.

Your hair is a beautiful color & a great cut!
I bit the bullet and posted pictures with my digital camera despite the poor quality. Sigh. But couldn’t resist a chance to connect with this community. Thanks for hosting!
Yeah you have a banner! I’m talking about my weekly purge pile

Love the haircut!
I love your haircut it is super cute. Thanks for hosting this, I think it’s great fun.
Your hair looks great and ohmygoodness you DO have a lot of it. I love that you donated it to Locks of Love.
Your hair looks great!
Thanks for starting this! I anticipate seeing a lot of great posts and finding some new blogs to read.
News gets around! This looks great and very positive. And your hair looks great, given to a wonderful cause.
Was that darling graphic up last night? Love it, Love it. Will use it next time. Thanks so much for your enthusiasm and comments over at Tea Party Girl. A ping-pong paddle instead of $20,000? Talk about traumatic, indeed!
This is my first time to do anything like this – how do I add your cute little graphic to my blog?
Thanks for sharing – what fun!
Love the haircut! Are you just swishing your head back and forth now feeling it brush your neck? I started a new blog so I’m signed in under a different name.

Looks lovely! I get to cut my hair all short and stylish when I hit my goal weight. It’ll be my congratulations present to myself.
That and the new wardrobe. =P
Love the cute short hair. It’s so nice and thick and full! And your girls are darling, too. I can’t think of anything to “talk about”, but I’ll link up next week.
I love your hair cut! I need to get mine cut, but I’m a chicken. The woman who has been cutting my hair for the past 25 years isn’t cutting right now due to illness. I’m terrified of letting anyone else touch it. Yours looks beautiful.
Yay! You did it! I’m calling today to make my appt to get my hair cut. The time has finally come!!
Late, but count me in!
I love your hair. I’ll bet it’s one of those cuts that looks perfect no matter how you dress or where you go, too.
I’m new, I’m new… I love your post! I’ve been lurking around for a little while and today I decided to participate. I think this could be addicting. Come on over and say hello. I look forward to officially meeting you!

CUTE HAIR! And awesome that you gave it to LOL.
Cute hair!!
I missed the first week!! I could have posted that we survived a nasty cold, but I don’t think you all want to hear about that!
Love your new ‘do. And I love that you donated to Locks of Love. I think I’m going to grow my hair out and do that next time I cut it too.
Looking good, Lara.
WooHoo, you cut your hair!!!
I guess it’s time to break out the ole sheep shears and trim my bangs. They are a little to big for the ears and nose though. I’ll donate it to the chickens. They do wonders with it in their nesting boxes. Thanks for the great idea.
Love the hair!
I wanted to join in, but the camera wasn’t letting me post pictures. Next week…
Cute haircut; I like it.
